The prices on E-Bay are just crazy....makes me want to sell on there (but I don't)

Look at the 4 car set...around $70
Regular Car....$80
Auto'd Regular Car... $400...it's marked employee only, it's not...why people advertise these kinds of things are beyond me.

fyi....these are the times that being allegiant to your local diecast dealer pays off.......

so how does this work...let's say I personally bought the $400 auto'd car on E-Bay (I didn't) but let's say. The seller is advertising this car for delivery mid summer which it probably won't be released until fall. I paid for it already like you're supposed to BUT in a couple months more hit E-Bay for a cheaper price...can you dispute this with E-Bay and get your money back from the seller not because I could find them cheaper later but based on the fact that the seller advertised it for mid summer delivery??? How does that work?

Once you pay the seller, you have 30 days to file a dispute with Ebay/Paypal. After that, you are SOL if the seller doesn't deliver, period. That is why Ebay supposedly has a pre-order policy of 30 days, and why you should NEVER buy a pre-order from Ebay. After 30 days, the seller can keep your money and you have no recourse.

These sellers need to be reported and banned from Ebay, but Ebay never does anything about them. These cars clearly won't be delivered within 30 days, but the seller just states "delays may happen" even when they know the car isn't even expected to ship for 2-3 months. I've reported sellers before that have violated the pre-sell policy but Ebay always looks the other way as long as they get their cut.

@AFORKUM89 The Dale Jr Batman Cars are being signed by Jr and alloted by Lionel @ 1 per every 25..If your distributor was on the up and up as ours was and you bought two cases of Jr Batman 1:24 cars you will recieve one autograph car.You need to contact your delaers and see if they will recieve the autograph car.

does this mean the dealers wont know which ones are autographed unless they open all the cars they ordered?

No, the autographed cars are sold individually. On mine I got allocated approx 1 autograph for every 25 regular paint batman car that I had originally ordered. Of course after today that number is going to grow since I had a HUGe influx of new orders and dealers increasing thier orders for the regular batman car. Right now I am probably at 1 autograph for every 30-36 regular cars that i will purchase.

Since that was the ratio that we received I decided to offer mine to the dealers that ordere 24 or more regular cars, I figured this was the only FAIR way to do it. Of course the dealers that rec'd one thought it was fair and the dealers that didnt order 24 thought it was BS. But, with only 72 Autographed divided among all dealers/distributors (not counting nascar.com, but counting racingusa) they were spread out pretty thin. Lucky for me we had exactly enough dealers order 24 or more today that we are now sold out of the Autographed car and that headache for me is over!

Was just about to post but Brent @Plan B Sales said it best.

Sorry I haven't been on much the past few days, working hard on the move. Spent all day yesterday getting Phone lines, DSL lines and networking done inthe new store.
