I still don't get all the hype over door numbers. I mean, it's just the DIN that matches the number of the car. Big deal. But that's just me. I can see why prototype's and pre-production sample's go for so much money, because they actually play a big role in the production of the actual diecast. But to pay what many Door Number diecasts sell for is just beyond me. I know that one day I will get a door number though, and my opinion of them will change, LOL.

Prototypes keep collecting interesting for me, and door numbers are just as cool.
Actually the door numbers are harder to find than the prototypes since there are between 6-12 prototypes made from what I have heard, but there is only 1 door number on each run of diecast.
I have maybe 80-100 prototypes, but just a small amount of door numbers....I think around 8 or so...
