For sure NASCAR Thunder 2004! It had the absolute best career mode, best music, best fantasy tracks, and graphics for a ps2. I wish they would build off of that game for NTG12 since DaveT did work on NT2004.

And I still have NT2004 songs on my iPod lol

2003 and 2004 are my favorites, had a majority of the drivers, the tracks were great, the unliited paint schemes, transition races, I only wish they had online races.

NASCAR Thunder 2003 and 2004 were the best ones. I liked 2003 over 2004 though. 2004 got really realistic though, but the Grudges and Alliances and angry drivers who mad over the least bit of bumping and scraping get very tedious after a while but I still enjoyed even though the cars could have been a lot easier to handle in the 2004 game.
I liked 2003 because it had a good driver lineup and it was good for casual gamers as well as some serious gamers as well. I was always a casual gamer so 2003 was it for me plus it came out on the Nintendo Gamecube, NT2004 did not. So in my mind, 2003 gets the nod.

The 4 Nascar Thunder games have to be some of the best Nascar video games ever. But I chose 2004 only because it was the newest and best of the 4. 2004 was probally the last "Good" Ps2 Nascar game.
