Well let me start out by saying that it's pretty obvious that NASCAR wanted some excitement for the Championship each year. When Nextel came on board, NASCAR had the opportunity to change and start something fresh. Ironically it was right after a season with a champion that wasn't a week in and week out winner, just a consistent driver.

Well another weekend has come and gone. Man they fly by fast. I wish the work week would go by as fast as my 2 days off. Been watching the hurricane on tv all week and hopefully everyone that was in Ike's path are ok now.

Watched a lot of football today, man I am depressed on how my team is doing, I live, eat, breath Rams football and they are really letting me down this year. I don't know if they have just quit on their coaches or what but it is pathetic. They have better players...
