Wow been a long time since I have posted anything in here. Summer time is a busy time for me as we are full speed working and just having fun while the kids are out of school. Actually I only have 1 ion school now but the little one will be in there come this time next year. It is so hard to believe that my oldest daughter is in the first grade this year. Man time flies. I know what my Dad meant when he said that time gets away from you when you start your own family.

My favorite time of the year is almost here, NFL season and the Fall hunting season is just around the corner.

I got my Rams tickets today in the mail, Nov 29th at St Louis vs the SeaHAGS, lower level on the 45 on the Rams sideline. I cannot wait. I am going to spend more time there this year and explore the city more. I have a good feeling about my team this year. I don't have any playoff hopes or anything like that but I know that this team will be a much better team than any team we have had since 2004. We finally have football people running the franchise and not some dumbass numbers people. Feels great to know that your owners actaully care(even if they are for sale they are doing everything to WIN games and get the right people in place). Our new coach Steve Spagnuolo and GM Billy Devaney have really stepped up. It feels wierd knowing that your team may actually look like a real football team with good fundamentals. I get snapshots and reports from training camp everyday and sometimes twice a day from friends around St Louis. I am excited more about this year than in the years past.

GO RAMS!!!

I am still collecting handguns but haven't made any new purchases in a while and just sticking to what I do have and shooting out in the back yard when I get the chance. I finally did get my TN Handgun Carry Permit, feels kinda weird getting to carry a gun almost everywhere I go. No on really seems to notice it either, even though I don't have to in TN I still carry concealed, except for when I carry my 1911, kinda hard to hide a large auto.

Well it's hotter then hell here today, time to get off here and go take a dip in the pool and find the AC for the evening.
Out......

Well it's Monday again. Just got in from working. Still thankful that our work has not slowed down too much. But when you live in a smaller town and have a good name that sure helps when times get like they are now.

I am sitting here waiting on a call to meet a guy to purchase yet another handgun. I love them. They have became my new passion as of late. I know they cost more than the cars I used to collect but they are so much more fun for me. If I get tired of looking at one or don't like it I can have it sold within 24 hours normally.

I am also waiting for my TN Handgun Carry Permit to arrive in the mail. It was mailed last Monday. That is another great thing about my state, we get to carry them after taking the class. I have never in my life been in a situation where one was needed to save my life but today might be that day. The way people are getting and the way the economy is it looks like it will get worse before it gets better. I don't want anyone messing with my family no matter where we are. I know a lot of people don't see eye to eye on guns but I love them and will continue to support the NRA and local groups that fight for my 2nd amendment right. I am not a gung-ho Republican and I don't talk down on the Democrats because most of them are anti-gun. I am no politician. I just want to be left alone.

On another note, the 2009 NFL Draft is in 2 weeks and I cannot wait. The excitement of who your team will take and the way it pans out until season starts is awesome...for football fans.

Until next time.....out.

Wow, been forever since I posted to my blog. I feel like so much has passed and I have not posted since October. Well my football season went to hell as I expected it too. I am so glad my team has started the complete rebuilding process. New coach, new attitude, new players and the draft coming up at the end of the month.

Easter is coming up on us this weekend and it looks like the weather is going to pan out nice this year. It's funny, Sunday I was working in the yard in shorts and a T-Shirt and Monday and today it's freaking snowing. Tomorrow it's supposed to be back up to 66 degrees.

Spring turkey season if underway here in TN. So far it's the old man 1 and me zero, but that is ok. We have a great time every year and I am just glad he is still around and still in good enough shape to get out like we do. We also just spent 3 nights camping and hunting on one of our closer Wildlife Managment Areas that has 80,000 acres of hunting paradise, with no luck I might add. It was still fun, 2 of my cousins went and we had a blast. The first night it rained enough to raise the Amazon River up to flood stage. Thank goodness we don't rough it in tents anymore, I don't know if I am getting softer or smarter...I think it's the latter.

I am going to try and update this a little more regualr from now on.

Well as always it's nice for a man to have a place to come and watch the races and football games. There was some good games on today. The Giants pulled one out on the Steelers after I thought the Steelers had the game wrapped up, the bad snap on the punting team killed them. Miami won again, KC almost upset the Jets, Washington beats the lowly Lions, just to name a few.

Now comes my team, man they are playing with heart after Jim Haslett took over the reigns as head coach. They did manage to lose today but it was exciting to watch. The Pats are still a tough team and are really tough when the Rams commit 9 penalties to the Pats ZERO. Yeah, none, even the one where Fahkir Brown was hit late out of bounds after his INT, also when Seymore ripped Bulgers head half off by the facemask and the ref picked the flag up and said there was no penalty on the play. That pissed me off but I will not blame that on the loss. The offense should have scored more and had the chances to do so. The D did their part and my new favorite Ram, Chris Long had 2 sacks today and rookie Donnie Avery continues to impress with 160+ yards and a long TD strike.

Football is finally fun again, I know my team is along ways from being good again but I can't imagine how Lions fans and Bengals fans feel as those 2 teams really really suck and have no hope except the race to the #1 overall pick in 09.....the Lions select WR....from....with the first pick of the 09 draft. Followed by the burning of Ford Field along with the whole city of Detroit.

We are FINALLY getting settled in and it's starting to feel like home at the new house. The Man Cave is getting customized by me when I get the time. I like having the HDTV and the PC down here. Well enough from the G-man, until next time.

Well my activity on the board has been slow this week. I have been a busy man. I am currently moving from my 2 BR apartment and moving into a nice 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a full finished basement.....perfect for a man room. This has been a long time coming and the whole family is excited. My kids will finally have a nice 3 acre yard to run and play in. It is also out of the city limits so that gives room to fire off a few rounds of the old pistol. I will post some pics of the new place when we get settled in.

I usually write about football and need to add some thoughts on some things. Rams WR Dane Looker took a pretty nasty helmet to helmet hit in the game against the Bill and they first thought it was a concussion but today doctors said he was not concussed and they found a spot on his brain that is thought to be a brain anyerism(sp?) My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family as good health is more important that any kind of game.

On to more surprising football news, it was reported earlier today that Mr PacBOY Jones has been involved in yet another fiasco in some hotel. I guess this is another one of his 27 chances to straighten out.

Well another weekend has come and gone. Man they fly by fast. I wish the work week would go by as fast as my 2 days off. Been watching the hurricane on tv all week and hopefully everyone that was in Ike's path are ok now.

Watched a lot of football today, man I am depressed on how my team is doing, I live, eat, breath Rams football and they are really letting me down this year. I don't know if they have just quit on their coaches or what but it is pathetic. They have better players than what they are showing, I just can't wait until the season is over so they can get a new coach in here that has some damn cajones and will get this team back on track. I was very happy that my new favorite Ram, Chris Long got his first sack today on Eli Manning. He is a great kid and should have a good career if he is anything like his dad was. Torry Holt did make a top 10 plays of the week catch but it was a little too late. I don't think we are hardly the worst team in the NFL but we are in the bottom 5.

I did like to see the Seahags get beat AGAIN today. If the Rams only win 2 games this year I hope it's both against the Hags. Next week and on Dec 14th in which I will be there.

The other games on today were ok, man the wind at the Bengals/Titans game was about 60MPH, it was bad elsewhere too. Tonight's game in Cleveland has some wind issues. Plus I don't think the Browns are as good as most people though either, their defense is horrible.

Jay Cutler was awesome today, even though he plays for the Bronco's I like the kid. He played for Vandy here in my state and I like to see the guys from the smaller schools do well in professional sports. I was also glad to see him beat Philip Rivers, he is an asshole. Too bad because most of the Charger team is pretty cool. I remember last year Rivers was yelling shit at Cutler from the sidelines when the Bolts beat em, not this time.

That is all for today, maybe Scott Linehan will get fired tonight so I can be happy tomorrow.

Well today was opening Sunday for the NFL season, although it started Thursday night I call it opening day today. My Rams got dehorned today in Philly, looks like another long season for StL. But I also enjoyed watching the Seahags get beat as well.
What a comeback win for the Panthers....man with no time left Delhomme throws a TD pass and beat the Bolts 25-24.
Tom Brady took a bad shot to the knee and is reported to miss the rest of the season even though those reports haven't been confirmed yet.

On to something more important, today is my youngest girls 4th birthday so Happy Birthday to my little princess. 4 years ago tonight was the longest night I have ever had because she came to us about 3 months early and wasn't expected to make it at all, 2 lbs 14 ozs, Ecoli bacteria in her blood(we still don't know how the hell that came about), very under developed lungs and one was ruptured when she was on the breathing machine. I still get teary eyed when I think about all she had to go through spending her first 4 months in Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital before she ever got to come home. But today she is doing great, no problems at all and she is as normal as any other child her age although she is a bit on the small side she makes up for it in temper and heart. Well enough rambling for me for the day.

I have always wondered why they call today Labor Day, isn't this a holiday? There isn't mcuh labor going on.

Anyway, last nights race was not exciting at all. I am sick of watching these 1 1/2 mile tracks that are all pretty much the same. We need more short tracks and road courses. At least there is a litte action on those. But who cares, it's football season and there will actually be something on worth watching. I am going to try and keep a football blog going when the regular season starts. There are going to be a lot of good teams this year.

It's still way to early to predict a Super Bowl winner so right now I am going to say that the Jackonville Jaguars are going to be my early season pick to win it all.

Today has been a long day, not that work was hard because I got off early but because the Lounge has been crazy today. Racer has spent so much time lately getting up to the top of the forum world it's amazing to say the least. Now someone goes and tries to hack into his personal account:wtf:, that is some low shit right there. If you are caught person...you will get the honorary BAN button pushed on your ass.
Our community is growing by the day, we have more activity daily with the active member per day up to about 75 now. Maybe it's because of the Shrub haters maybe not. Whatever it is it sure makes this place interesting. That's all for now.
