Well as always it's nice for a man to have a place to come and watch the races and football games. There was some good games on today. The Giants pulled one out on the Steelers after I thought the Steelers had the game wrapped up, the bad snap on the punting team killed them. Miami won again, KC almost upset the Jets, Washington beats the lowly Lions, just to name a few.
Now comes my team, man they are playing with heart after Jim Haslett took over the reigns as head coach. They did manage to lose today but it was exciting to watch. The Pats are still a tough team and are really tough when the Rams commit 9 penalties to the Pats ZERO. Yeah, none, even the one where Fahkir Brown was hit late out of bounds after his INT, also when Seymore ripped Bulgers head half off by the facemask and the ref picked the flag up and said there was no penalty on the play. That pissed me off but I will not blame that on the loss. The offense should have scored more and had the chances to do so. The D did their part and my new favorite Ram, Chris Long had 2 sacks today and rookie Donnie Avery continues to impress with 160+ yards and a long TD strike.
Football is finally fun again, I know my team is along ways from being good again but I can't imagine how Lions fans and Bengals fans feel as those 2 teams really really suck and have no hope except the race to the #1 overall pick in 09.....the Lions select WR....from....with the first pick of the 09 draft. Followed by the burning of Ford Field along with the whole city of Detroit.
We are FINALLY getting settled in and it's starting to feel like home at the new house. The Man Cave is getting customized by me when I get the time. I like having the HDTV and the PC down here. Well enough from the G-man, until next time.

The rams sent a tape of the uncalled penalties to the league office this week...too late to change the outcome of the game, though.
At least the Rams staff didn't make any public remarks about the noncalls like the other coaches/players did this season.
This year has to be the crappiest bad calls/noncalls this year...did anyone see the PHI/ATL game and the bad callon the "muffed" punt return? I guess that NBA ref got a job after all...Posted 10-29-2008 at 09:43 PM by ajwest92

I saw that so called muffed punt and all the bad calls as they are mentioned on Official Review on Wednesday nights NFL Total Access show. I am not blaming the loss on the refs and the Rams had more than one opportunity to win the game buyt for the officiating to be so lopsided it is disappointing. There was 3 plays Coach Haz sent in and I have saw them all several times and can't believed they weren't called. But I am glad to see my team headed in the right direction for now, it just pisses me off that the league voided Haslett's contract so they have to interview a "minority" candidate for the job. I hate the Rooney rule, hire the man for the job no matter skin color. What about the Seahags naming Jim Mora Jr coach for next year already, and another team has done the same thing for next year and nothing has been said yet. I just hope Haz gets the job because he deserves it and I am saying that after just 3 games under him.Posted 10-29-2008 at 10:14 PM by Geebi
